Last year was a very hectic, exhausting and trying year for us, especially when my wife’s mom died. We dealt with a lot more that I’ll not get into; I want to forget most of them. We haven’t had a decent sleep this December and we’ve been moving stuff up and down the house, and Christmas shopping. We sold some of the furniture, partially completed cleaning and repainting the second floor. Then my computer’s memory died before Christmas and I had a difficult time getting a replacement since the DDR on it is pretty old (first gen); my PC’s motherboard doesn’t support other models. **sigh** There’s one more place I haven’t checked out yet; I hope they have it, if not I’ll be forced to buy a new rig.
Anyway, the Christmas and New Year celebrations were not what they used to be but they’re still generally okay. I’m looking forward to a more upbeat, fruitful, pleasant and more moolah year ahead.
Here’s to an exciting, joyous, fruitful and prosperous 2008.

Howdy and Happy New Year to you web-neighbor. What a year you had to go through. Hope you get an affordable new rig which would be more compatible-friendly for those upgrade cycles to come. I’ll be around the doghouse and saving up currently for a gaming console before my niece visits here in April.
Howdy and Happy New Year to you too pardner. I agree that getting a new rig would be the best route to go especially with the upgrade cycles you mentioned, maybe even cheaper in the long run. I happy that my PC lasted this long. Anyway, you getting a gaming console? Cool!
What will you be getting?
